For our UK, US and ROW (non-EU) clients, there will be no change to how you receive our orders.
For European orders, as children's clothing and footwear is VAT exempt in the UK, this will now be payable in the country of delivery post Brexit. Note that VAT rates vary from country to country so we strongly recommend to check with your local VAT office to understand the VAT fee payable on delivery.
All orders to the EU will be shipped Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU) and so orders shipped outside of the UK will be subject to custom taxes and/or duties. This means the customer is responsible for paying, or claiming back, any Import VAT and Import Duty due on receipt of their goods. We advise all customers outside the UK, and particularly within EU countries, to check local customs tax and duties costs before making a purchase, as these must be paid to allow the goods to be released.
If any applicable taxes/duties are not paid, and/or you (the customer) refuse or are unable to accept delivery causing the goods to be returned to us, then you will have to pay the courier and any duty costs out of any refund we make to you. Please check
With regards to deliveries, please expect all EU shipments to experience delays in the early stages of this transition. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated accordingly.
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
You have 15 days from the arrival of the product(s) to the delivery address to return or exchange them.
Please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, including your full name, the order number and a brief explanation of the reason why you would like to return or exchange your item(s).
We will be happy to offer you a full refund on the condition that the garment(s) we received at our address are in the same condition as when you purchased them. They must be in perfect sealable condition, with all the original tags and labels attached and with no signs of the items having been washed or worn.
OrKids Boutique is not liable for postage costs. We recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return your purchase, as OrKids boutique is not responsible for lost or damage items and reserves the right not to accept articles returned out of the set period of time.
If you wish to exchange your item for another size or another garment, please ensure you send us an email to the above email address as soon as possible. This will guarantee a faster exchange process.
Please note TIGHTS AND SOCKS are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for hygiene reasons.
For returns or exchanges OUTSIDE EUROPE, please ensure the return form is filled in correctly, as OrKids Boutique will not be responsible for customs duty or other and hence, the item (s) will unfortunately be sent back to you.
